    Short Description:

    The Sheriff's Office of Laramie County, Wyoming, is among the departments that have sent delegates to Israel. Danny L. Glick has served as Sheriff of Laramie County since 2002. Sheriff Glick attended a training in Israel with JINSA as a delegate of the LEEP program in June 2011. Sheriff  Glick is the Immediate Past President of the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA). The NSA is a trade association that represents thousands of sheriffs, deputies and other public safety and law enforcement officers. The NSA offers police training and other services to these officials and builds networking relationships among local, state and federal law enforcement, in part to share homeland security programs and projects. One of the primary ways the NSA helps sheriffs' offices, departments and associations nationwide is to find and prepare applications for state and federal homeland security grant funding, one of the sources that provide funding for trainings in Israel to local, state and federal law enforcement and public agencies.

    Short Description:

    The Police Department of Lawrence, Kansas, was trained by Ed Davis, the former Boston Police Commissioner who participated in a mission to further collaboration between the Israel National Police (INP) and the Palestinian Authority's (PA) Palestinian Security Services (PSS). The Lawrence Police Department paid $14,000 to Edward Davis, LLC, for a 3 1/2 day training. Edward Davis, LLC, is a private security consulting firm founded by former Commissioner Davis. The private security firm works with federal, state and local law enforcement and military officers.

    The Police Department of Lexington, Kentucky, is among the departments that have sent delegates to Israel. Ronnie Bastin served as Chief of Lexington Police Department between 2008 and 2014. Chief Bastin attended a training in Israel with the ADL as a delegate of the National Counter-Terrorism Seminar in September 2008. He was promoted by the Mayor to Public Safety Commissioner in 2014, where he served until 2018.
